NATO will launch preemptive strikes on Russia in case of threat
The North Atlantic Alliance is considering the preemptive strikes on Russia. This will be carried out in case if there is a threat of attack on NATO countries.
This was stated by Admiral Rob Bauer, Chairman of the Alliance's Military Committee.
The threat of a Russian attack on NATO
According to Bauer, NATO has reconsidered its role as a defense alliance. Therefore, now the member states are ready to act preemptively in the event of a threat of a Russian attack. In such a case, the Alliance will launch preemptive strikes on Russia.
"It would be wiser not to wait, but to strike the launchers in Russia in case if Russia attacks us. A combination of high-precision strikes is needed that will disable the systems that are used to attack us, and we must strike first," he said.
Previously, the deputy commander of the Third Assault Brigade, Maksym Zhorin, noted that Russia is focused on the war against Ukraine, but plans to attack NATO countries.
And the administration of the USA President Joe Biden wanted to publicly call on Ukraine to join NATO. However, this decision was later changed.
