The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Kyiv has advised its citizens to leave Ukraine. The official reason is frequent rocket and artillery shelling.

This was reported by the press service of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine on Telegram on Wednesday, November 20.

Statement by the Embassy of Kazakhstan

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan addressed its citizens in Ukraine.

Diplomats recommended that citizens of Kazakhstan consider leaving the areas close to the sites of active hostilities or leaving Ukraine. The reason is frequent artillery shelling and air attacks in Ukraine.

The Embassy also urged all citizens not to ignore the air raid alert and immediately take shelter, to take personal safety measures and follow the recommendations of the official authorities.

"We note that to travel from Ukraine to Kazakhstan, citizens of Kazakhstan can use land routes: via Poland or Moldova, and then by commercial air. In case of departure via Poland, citizens of Kazakhstan need to have a Schengen visa. A visa is not required to enter Moldova," the statement reads.

To recap, the US Embassy in Kyiv warned of a possible "serious air attack" on Ukraine on November 20. Because of this, the institution was closed.

Novyny.LIVE also wrote that following the US, Spain, Greece and Italy decided to close their embassies in Kyiv on November 20. The reason is the threat of a massive attack on Ukraine.
