President's Office denied rumors about negotiations with Russia
The Office of the President responded to the Financial Times publication about "negotiations" regarding strikes on the energy sector. It is reported that Russia is unlikely to abandon the strategy of missile attacks on critical infrastructure.
The Office of the President's reaction to the publication was explained by the Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podolyak on Wednesday, October 30.
Podolyak commented on the rumors about negotiations
Podolyak emphasized that this is not the first time that the media has made such "intrusions", referring to "anonymous sources". However, Russia is unlikely to abandon the type of war that it is waging. In fact, the invaders are not capable of fighting another way.
"They use the resources of the second, third country to the fullest extent, take ballistic missiles from them, pull up the manpower of North Korea. And here they voluntarily say: "Well, that's it, we won't terrorize the civilian population, we won't strike at the energy sector?" A bit of strange logic," Podolyak says.
It is worth adding that the official Kremlin also denied information about negotiations with Kyiv on stopping strikes on energy facilities.
Previously, Podoliak stated that Russia is trying to deprive its territorial neighbors of any choice.
Podolyak also commented on the visit of UN Secretary General António Guterres to the BRICS summit in Russia.
