A woman accidentally told about the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Russian agents
In Kherson, a woman told a Russian agent about the position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the court, she assured that she did not know that her acquaintances were working for Russia.
This became known from the court verdict published in the Unified State Register of Judgments.
Case details
The court documents indicate that during a telephone conversation with an acquaintance, the woman shared information about military hardware that was at a non-working gas station and near the former Pavlyk Morozov cinema.
During the month, the woman informed her husband several more times about the location of military vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And during the conversation with another citizen of Ukraine, the defendant also indicated that Ukrainian military personnel may live in one of the hotels.
At the court, the person involved in the case stated that she did not know that her acquaintance's husband was secretly working for Russia.
The woman made a plea deal. She also undertook to help in exposing a citizen of Ukraine who cooperates with the Russian Federation
Court decision
The Kherson city court found the woman guilty of illegally disclosing information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and sentenced her to five years in prison, with the possibility of release on probation for three years.
Previously, we reported that another resident of Kherson joined the Telegram channel of a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and spread there comments with information about the location of the Armed Forces. She was brought to criminal responsibility.
We also wrote that the Oleksandria City and District Court of the Kirovohrad region made a decision in the case of burning military vehicles. The defendant was a 28-year-old resident of Oleksandria, who committed the crime on request of the Russian aggressors.
