Protests in Georgia
Georgian President Salomé Zourabichvili spoke at the rally, stating that the votes of those gathered at the elections "were stolen".
"I can swear that I will be with you until the end of the European path, until we reach the doors of Europe, which is our real dream," she said.
One of the leaders of the "Unity — National Movement" party, Giorgi Vashadze, stated at the rally that the opposition demands to repeat elections, which will be held under international control.
Before the rally began, people who gathered near the Georgian parliament booed Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. He arrived in Tbilisi to meet with government officials, whom the protest participants accuse of falsifying the parliamentary elections.
As a reminder, in the parliamentary elections in Georgia, the ruling pro-Russian "Georgian Dream" party received over 54% of the vote after counting the results from 3,088 polling stations.
