Military aid package from Germany — what does it include
Germany has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine. Among the transferred weapons are Leopard 1 tanks, as well as air defense systems.

Aid package from Germany
Ukraine has received a new military aid package from Germany worth 650 million euros. It includes:
• IRIS-T air defense systems;
• Leopard 1 tanks;
• strike drones;
• winter equipment;
• hand-held weapons and heating equipment.
This support, which has already been announced in October, will be implemented by the end of 2024, as a spokesman for the German Ministry of Defense said.
Previously, Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz visited Kyiv surprisingly. He announced the transfer of a new military aid package at a meeting with the President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
