Zelensky emphasized that the first most effective, most reliable guarantor of our security is the Armed Forces.

"We thank you for this. May death avoid the brave, may everything be 4.5.0. Let your victory be yours, let your glory be yours, and let your common Ukrainian victory be yours. Happy holiday, soldiers. Glory to the Armed Forces! Glory to Ukraine!" he said.

The President noted that there are two dates in our history that are side by side on the calendar and are connected to each other — December 5 and 6. Yes, yesterday was the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Budapest Memorandum.

To recap, on the 30th anniversary of the Budapest Memorandum, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that we refuse any guarantees except for joining NATO.

The Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, also congratulated the military on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and thanked them for their courage in the fight for independence.
