Traitors will lose state awards

This draft law was submitted by the President Zelenskyy back in July of this year. It was supported by 283 deputies in the Ukrainian Parliament.

According to the document, a new additional punishment will be introduced into the Criminal Code — deprivation of state awards for committing certain crimes. When passing a sentence, the court will be obliged to consider whether there are reasons for deprivation of state awards.

The National Security and Defense Council can also deprive of awards.

The law states that a person who is deprived of state awards of Ukraine is deprived of all rights and privileges provided for people who have received such awards. Zelenskyy signed a law on the deprivation of state awards.

Previously, we wrote that Zelenskyy commented on rumors about a large-scale missile attack being prepared by the Russian Federation. He recalled that during a full-scale invasion, the Russians have repeatedly carried out similar actions.

Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine will lose the war with Russia if the US reduces aid. Our state does not have enough of its own production to survive.
