Zelenskyy dismissed permanent representative in Crimea
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed Tamila Tasheva from the post of Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea at her personal request. She had held this position since April 2022.
This is stated in the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 800/2024.

Zelensky dismissed Tasheva from the post of Permanent Representative of the President in Crimea.
"To dismiss Tamila Tasheva from the post of Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in accordance with her application," the decree says.
On Wednesday, December 4, Tasheva thanked the President of Ukraine and her team for their fruitful cooperation and shared her plans for the future on her Facebook page.
"In the near future, I will start working in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. I know that many of you, colleagues and friends, have been wondering whether I will move to the parliament. I won't lie, the decision was not easy, but in the end, it was made," Tasheva wrote.
What is known about Tasheva
Tasheva was born in 1985 in Samarkand in a family of Crimean Tatars deported from their native peninsula. It is known that after graduating from high school, she entered the Faculty of Oriental Languages at the Tauride Institute.
In 2002, she joined the Crimean Tatar Youth Center, where she organized cultural events. She took an active part in the Orange Revolution, including organizing rallies in Crimea. During the events in Kyiv, Tasheva met activists of the NGO Foundation of Regional Initiatives and soon became the head of its Crimean branch.
After the occupation of Crimea, the woman was actively involved in documenting violations of the rights of Crimean Tatars, including cases of disappearances and abuse against the people. Her activities were aimed at drawing attention to human rights issues on the temporarily occupied peninsula.
In late October 2019, Tasheva was appointed Deputy Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. On April 25, 2022, she was appointed Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea.
As a reminder, in November 2024, the Central Election Commission recognized Tamila Tasheva as a candidate from the Voice party.
