North Korea is preparing a military contingent to participate in the war in Ukraine. North Korean officers are already in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference following his participation in the meeting of the European Council on Thursday, October 17.

Zelenskyy said that according to reconnaissance data, North Korean officers are already in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and are training Russian soldiers.
"The exact number of officers is not known yet, but Russia is counting on reinforcements from the North Korea due to problems with mobilization," the Head of State noted.
The President added that Russia is losing many soldiers on the battlefield.
"He (Putin. — Ed.) knows that the mood in society is against mobilization, and is looking for external support," Zelenskyy said.
The President emphasized that he had discussed this issue with the United States and other partners, but had not yet provided details.
It should be reminded, that during a press conference, the President of Ukraine stated that if the partners do not support the Victory Plan of Ukraine, it will be a privilege for Russia and a big mistake.
