The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the State Defense Committee. One of the main topics was a report on contracts for the production of weapons in Ukraine.

"A significant amount of new and long-term orders for drones: FPV, as well as reconnaissance drones, long-range drones, missile drones. Separately and carefully regarding our missile program. Development, ordering, supply," Zelenskyy said.
Those present also heard a report on testing new types of missiles. The President emphasized that it is worth thanking Ukrainian missile developers and added that production will be accelerated.
"Today, we also discussed tasks on contracts for the production of artillery," the Head of State said.
The President also held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Minister of Energy, and the Commander of the Air Force. They reported on the protection of energy facilities and restoration work.
"We have identified additional priorities in negotiations with partners on air defense for Ukraine," Zelenskyy emphasized.
As of today, the Ukrainian army does not have enough forces to return Crimea by military means. Therefore, it is necessary to find diplomatic ways to resolve the war.
Zelenskyy also summed up the visit of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to Kyiv on Monday, December 2. According to him, it was one of the longest bilateral meetings. It lasted more than two hours.
