President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held the first meeting of the Technical Committee on Friday, December 13. It became a de facto constituent meeting.

The President explained that the Technical Committee is a special format for implementing innovations for defense with the participation of scientists and weapons manufacturers, developers of technological solutions for our Armed Forces and the security of Ukraine.
"Of course, all the necessary commanders and representatives of the army, intelligence and Armed Forces were present. Today, we focused on the first, key task, namely, protecting the sky. This is countering Shahed drones and missiles," he noted.
A long and rather detailed conversation on these issues also took place, and "first outlines" of how our defense can be further strengthened were created.
Zelenskyy noted that specific decisions should already be presented at the next meeting.
As a reminder, yesterday, Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on air defense.
In addition, on the Day of the Ground Forces of the AFU, the Ukrainian leader addressed the new commander, Mykhailo Drapatyi.
