Zelenskyy appointed the Permanent Representative in Crimea
On Friday, January 24, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the decree on the appointment of the Permanent Representative in Crimea. It is Olga Kuryshko, who had previously been acting in the post.
It is stated in the President’s Decree.

"To appoint Kuryshko Olga Mykolaivna as the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea", it is said in the document.
At the same time, the Representative Office of the President in Crimea clarified that Kuryshko and her team would implement the initiatives that have already been launched. She will also work on strengthening the body in its key mission which is to de-occupy Crimea, protect the rights of residents and indigenous peoples, and support reintegration processes.
What is known about Olga Kuryshko
Olga Kuryshko has been acting as the Permanent Representative since December 5, 2024, and was Deputy Permanent Representative since 2023.
She joined the team in December 2021 to head the Department of Legal Support.
