President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has awarded volunteers who tirelessly help the defenders. The event took place on International Volunteer Day.
The Head of State Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this via Telegram on Thursday, December 5.
The President has honored Ukrainian volunteers
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has awarded the benefactors with the "Golden Heart". This is a special state award for representatives of the volunteer community.
"I thank all our volunteers for helping Ukrainian soldiers, our communities, the entire people and for their unwavering faith in Ukraine," the President noted.
After the award ceremony, Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed important issues with the volunteers. In particular, the topic was the purchase of FPV drones, strengthening air defense and preparing the first meeting of the technological State Defense Committee, which is due to take place in December.
It should be recalled that Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Ukrainian military and awarded them with state awards. The President congratulated the defenders on the Day of Missile Forces and Artillery.
The President of Ukraine stated that Russia continues to commit war crimes. Zelenskyy called on the world to create a special tribunal, so that the Russian Federation will be punished.
