Zelenskyy plans to involve citizens in the Victory Plan
Ukraine plans to involve civil society in developing an internal Victory Plan. The country is also working on strengthening the technological aspect.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy via Telegram on Friday, October 25.
Zelenskyy held a meeting
The Head of State held a conference following a meeting with representatives of civil society. He said that the main issues concerned what currently limits Ukraine's capabilities and how to solve them.
"We plan to involve civil society in working on an internal Victory Plan," Zelenskyy said.
The President emphasized that he had instructed to develop a technological aspect. The highest priority, according to him, remains drones, in particular those that can shoot down enemy drones.
"I instructed the Main Intelligence Directorate, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, to specifically address the issues of releasing civilians from Russian captivity. Currently, the results in this regard are insufficient," Zelenskyy noted.
He added that during the meeting, key issues regarding the necessary legislative changes, sanctions policy, and Ukrainian diplomacy were also discussed.
"I will hear the results in a few weeks," the Head of State wrote.
It should be recalled, that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin wants a ceasefire in the war against Ukraine and is interested in a further exchange of prisoners of war.
Previously, Zelenskyy rejected the visit of UN Secretary-General António Guterres to Ukraine. This was probably due to his visit to the BRICS summit in Russia.
