Zelenskyy discussed the reconstruction with Icelandic President
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the President of Iceland Halla Tómasdóttir. The parties discussed and agreed on important issues for Ukraine during the war.

Zelenskyy's meeting with the President of Iceland
In Reykjavik, the Head of State met with the President of Iceland Halla Tómasdóttir on the eve of the 76th session of the Nordic Council. The leaders discussed important aspects of cooperation between the countries in the context of assisting Ukraine and confronting the Russian aggressor.
"Among the topics discussed were Iceland's participation in the demining coalition and in training Ukrainian sappers, rehabilitation of injured soldiers, involvement of Icelandic companies in prosthetics. Post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. Counteraction to Russian disinformation. Implementation of the Peace Formula and preparation for the second Peace Summit," the President wrote.
Zelenskyy also thanked Iceland for supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and for organizing the Ukraine-Northern Europe meeting.
It should be recalled that recently Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol, during which the leaders discussed Russia's involvement of North Korean soldiers in the war and countermeasures in response to the escalation.
Previously, the President of Ukraine had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Iceland Bjarni Benediktsson.
