Lloyd Austin's visit to Ukraine

On October 21, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin gave a speech at the Diplomatic Academy in Kyiv and stated that the struggle of Ukraine for freedom will determine the "trajectory of global security".

The Pentagon Chief also said that the future of Europe, NATO and America's security depend on the struggle of Ukrainians.

"This struggle imposes certain obligations on all of us. As President Biden said at the UN meeting in September: our task is to ensure that the forces that unite us are stronger than those that divide us. The results of Ukraine's struggle for its freedom will create a trajectory for global security. The future of Europe is now at stake. NATO forces are now at stake. And America's security is also at stake," Austin said.

As a reminder, in Kyiv on October 21, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that the war chosen by Putin now raises fundamental questions for the governments of all countries and every person who seeks security in the world.
