The second day of the international exhibition-conference ReBuild Ukraine Construction and Energy, which aims to unite efforts for restoration of the Ukrainian economy, is underway in Warsaw. A representative of Ukrenergo spoke about the reconstruction of damaged energy facilities and plans for the future.

This was reported by a correspondent of Novyny.LIVE Galyna Ostapovets from Warsaw on Thursday, November 14.

Plans of Ukrenergo for the construction of overhead power transmission lines

Ukrenergo Investment Director Oleg Pavlenko spoke about plans for the reconstruction of substations and the construction of new overhead power transmission lines.

According to Pavlenko, from 2025, Ukrenergo will return to the reconstruction of substations, which were temporarily suspended. They also plan to restore the substation automation system and build new power lines.

"Previously, we replaced about five transformers per year, now it is over 100. The company's capacity is now one of the highest in the world due to the challenges we are facing now. You see how many attacks there have been on the energy sector, but we are still working and continuing to restore and protect," Ukrenergo noted.

It should be recalled that a two-day international exhibition-conference ReBuild Ukraine Construction and Energy kicked off in Warsaw on November 13. The main topic is infrastructure projects, industry, energy and the housing sector.

Previously, Novyny.LIVE wrote about the ecological reconstruction project  — Ukrainians, together with the British and the Dutch, plan to change the approach to the use of construction waste from concrete in the reconstruction process.
