The leader of the United States of America, Donald Trump, stated that after the strikes, the Houthis want peace. According to him, they have suffered heavy losses.

Fox News reported it.

Houthis want peace

In mid-March, the United States launched massive strikes against the Houthis in Yemen in response to their attacks on ships in the Red Sea.

"The Houthis want peace because they have been hit hard. The Houthis are dying for peace. They don't want it... They have been shooting down ships. Only about 20% of ships can pass through the Suez Canal. The rest are forced to look for workarounds, which takes weeks, and this seriously affects trade. But the Houthis have suffered great losses and want to make peace," Trump emphasized.

As a reminder, the Yemeni Houthis stated that they had attacked Israel's Ben Gurion Airport with a ballistic missile. The target was also the US aircraft carrier group in the Red Sea.

Earlier, the Houthis reported the attack on the US aircraft carrier Harry Truman. It was in retaliation for the US strikes.
