"I am declaring a national emergency on our southern border. All illegal crossings will be stopped," Trump said.
According to him, the United States will begin the process of returning millions of criminals to the countries from which they came. He will reinstate the "stay in Mexico" policy and stop this "practice of invasion" by sending the U.S. military to the southern border.
In addition, the new president will sign decrees today recognizing cartels as international terrorist organizations.
Earlier, Bloomberg wrote that Trump will also introduce a state of emergency in the U.S. energy sector to stimulate domestic electricity production.
