After scandals with medical and social expert commissions, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin resigned.
According to NV's sources, the current head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko will be appointed to the position of the new Prosecutor General.
"He is a compromise figure who can be passed through Parliament," the report says.
Note that the candidacy of the next head of the Prosecutor General's Office must be considered by the relevant law enforcement committee of Parliament.
It should be recalled that before resigning, Kostin announced the first results of an internal investigation into the receipt of fake disabilities by prosecutors.
We reported that the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption was also allegedly involved in corruption scandals in the MSEС with the purchase of fake disabilities.
It is reported that officials whose disabilities turn out to be fake face liability — criminal cases will be opened against them.
