Scholz's statement to the G20
The German Chancellor emphasized that it is an illusion for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to believe that support for Ukraine will weaken.
"Ukraine can count on many friends in the world — especially Germany. It would be an illusion on Putin's part to believe that our support will weaken. This is an important message for the G20 meeting to which I am now heading," Scholz wrote.
As a reminder, Putin refused to participate in the G20 summit in Brazil due to an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court.
Also on November 12, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The parties discussed preparations for the G20.
