Poland is preparing a new aid package for Ukraine, — Zelenskyy
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk. During the conversation, the parties discussed key issues of defense cooperation, support for Ukraine on the international stage, and Poland's future EU Council Presidency.

Poland will transfer a new aid package to Ukraine
The Head of State thanked the Polish people for their solidarity with Ukraine from the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion. He also thanked Mr. Tusk for his principled position regarding the latest Russian attacks and attempts to legitimize the Russian dictator politically.
Donald Tusk reported that Poland is preparing the 45th defense support package for Ukraine and has already begun work on the next one. The prospects for cooperation within the Poland's presidency of the EU Council in the first half of 2025 were also discussed. The President of Ukraine expressed hope for Poland's assistance in opening the first cluster of negotiations with the EU and further expanding the negotiation process.
The importance of supporting Ukraine's accession to NATO was particularly emphasized. The President thanked Tusk for his active advocacy of this issue at the international level.
As a result of the conversation, the parties agreed to hold a personal meeting by the end of the year.
As a reminder, US President Joe Biden recently announced the provision of a new aid package to Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also commented on rumors about a reduction of the US aid.
