Lubinets reacted to the shooting of soldiers in Zaporizhzhia
Russian occupiers shot five Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Zaporizhzhia region. Russia has violated the Geneva Conventions, the laws and customs of war once again.
This was reported by the Commissioner of the Ukrainian Parliament for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets via Telegram on Thursday, November 28.

According to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, the Russians probably shot five captured Ukrainian soldiers out of six on November 24, 2024, near the village of Novodarivka, Polohy district, Zaporizhzhia region.
Lubinets stated that criminal proceedings had been initiated in connection with the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war.
The Commissioner for Human Rights also reported that he had sent letters to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) regarding the crime in question.
"The occupying country has violated the Geneva Conventions on the Treatment of Prisoners of War once again. The aggressor must be stopped immediately and brought to justice. The world must not stand aside!" Lubinets emphasized.
The Prosecutor's Office stated that law enforcement officers have established a unit of the occupying army, whose soldiers are currently being checked for involvement in the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war.
