Liquidation of the MSEC and personnel decisions — Zelenskyy's evening speech

The President of Ukraine has implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine to liquidate all medico-social expert commissions. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also announced personnel decisions due to the corruption scandal and a full audit of pensions and other accruals for all officials who "organized" disabilities themselves.

On October 22, Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council on numerous facts of law violations of the MSEC and false disabilities for officials.
"There are hundreds of such facts of obviously unfounded disabilities among officials of the customs, tax, in the Pension Fund system, in local administrations. All this must be sorted out thoroughly and promptly. The MSEC system must be liquidated," the President said.
As Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted, it is necessary to fully digitize all stages of work on establishing disability for real and systemic changes.
"There should also be personal responsibility and personnel decisions due to this situation in central government bodies for the vertical of control over the MSEC," the statement says.
NSDC decision on the liquidation of the MSEC
The NSDC decision provides for a full audit of pensions and other accruals for all officials who "organized disabilities for themselves".
At the meeting, the heads of the Security Service of Ukraine Malyuk and the Minister of Internal Affairs Klymenko reported on the inspections and investigations that are already underway.
"Unfortunately, there were very unconvincing reports from the Minister of Health and the Minister of Social Policy," Zelenskyy emphasized.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also highlighted that it is necessary to "go through all horizontals of local government separately".
Today, the National Security and Defense Council also discussed the situation in the Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine, after which the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin wrote a letter of resignation.
It should be recalled that on October 22, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to liquidate medical and social expert commissions.
In addition, Novyny.LIVE wrote that the SSU announced the results of the work on corrupt officials in the MSEC since the beginning of the year. According to the SSU materials, 64 MSEC officials were suspected, and more than four thousand disability certificates were canceled.
