Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris made a statement about her meetings with Vladimir Putin. She also spoke about plans to support Ukraine.

This was reported by CNN.

Does Kamala Harris plan to see Vladimir Putin?

Kamala Harris said she would not interfere in Ukraine's policy to end the war. The official will not meet bilaterally with Russian President Vladimir Putin to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine.

"Ukraine needs to talk about the future of Ukraine," she said.

Kamala Harris also added that the war in Ukraine cannot be successfully ended without Ukraine's participation in this process and the relevant UN charter, which will clearly outline how the war should end.

What Kamala Harris thinks about Ukraine's accession to NATO

The vice president did not answer journalists' questions about her intentions to support NATO expansion and Ukraine's accession to the Alliance.

"These are all issues that we will address if and when it comes to that point. Right now, we support Ukraine's ability to defend itself against Russia's unprovoked aggression," Kamala Harris said briefly.

Kamala Harris does not support Trump's policies

Kamala Harris also added that if Trump were to become President of the United States, "Putin would be sitting in Kyiv right now."

"He's talking about how he can end it on day one. You know what that means? It means capitulation," Harris said.

The official also spoke about her intentions to support Ukraine.

"As I have made clear in our six previous meetings, throughout Putin's brutal aggression and war against Ukraine, I stand unwaveringly with the people of Ukraine. I have been proud to stand with Ukraine — I will continue to stand with Ukraine, and I will work to ensure that Ukraine wins this war and is safe, secure, and prosperous," Harris said.

As a reminder, Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently named another major goal of Ukraine's victory plan. The media also reported that Ukraine is allegedly discussing with its allies a possible compromise that would give Kyiv a seat in NATO if Ukraine gives up the territories occupied by Russia. The Office of the President of Ukraine has responded to these statements. It should be noted that in late September, Kamala Harris warned European countries that they were not doing enough to help Ukraine.
