Diplomacy is one of the options for ending the war in Ukraine. However, it cannot start from the front line of February 24, 2022, because it is unfair.

This was announced by the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak during an interview with TSN.

Ways to end the war

Yermak said that Russia's war against Ukraine can end in different ways. One of them is diplomatic.

"One of these ways is diplomatic, but it cannot start from the front line of February 24, 2022. This will be unfair, wrong and will not comply with international law. And this, unfortunately, will create threats that this may happen again," the head of the Presidential Office said.

He emphasized that Ukraine must return its territories and its people, and this, in Yermak's opinion, is a fair start for the whole world.

It should be recalled that in March 2022, the Russian Federation provided Ukraine with its draft peace treaty. In particular, it included a reduction in the size of the Armed Forces and for our state to cover the costs of rebuilding the Donbas infrastructure.

Previously, Andriy Yermak commented on the UN's inability to influence the Russian aggression. According to him, the conflict, which initially seemed to be a territorial dispute, has turned into a global challenge to the international order.
