China has become a decisive factor contributing to Russia's war against Ukraine. Iran and North Korea, in turn, supply weapons to the aggressor country in exchange for supporting their military industry.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced this during a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Brussels on Thursday, October 17.

Rutte emphasized that China plays a decisive role in supporting Russia's war against Ukraine. He noted that Beijing's continued support for Russian aggression will negatively affect the country's interests and reputation.

"Our world is closely connected, as is our security. China has become a decisive factor contributing to the Russia's war against Ukraine. Beijing cannot continue to fuel the biggest conflict in Europe since World War II without its interests and reputation being affected," the NATO Secretary General said.

He also noted that Iran and North Korea are supplying Russia with missiles and drones in exchange for supporting their military industries, which creates new challenges for global security.

"Iran and North Korea are 'fueling' the Russian military machine with missiles and UAVs in exchange for supporting their military industries. We must be clearly aware of the challenges and work on them and protecting our common values," Rutte emphasized.

As a reminder, during a joint press conference, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is already part of NATO, as the Ukrainian military is holding the front line with weapons from all over the world.

The President of Ukraine also noted that North Korea is preparing a military contingent to participate in the war in Ukraine. North Korean officers are already in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
