The likelihood that the elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, will end the war in Ukraine in 90 days has decreased significantly. However, two months ago, 50% of bookies believed in this possibility.
This is evidenced by the data on the Polymarket platform, where bets are accepted.
The probability of ending the war by 20 April has decreased
In November, after it became known that Trump had won, 50% of people bet that he would be able to end the Russian-Ukrainian war by April 20, 90 days after his inauguration on January 20. However, this figure has now dropped to 29%.
It should be noted that during the election campaign, Trump repeatedly stated that he would end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours, even before he officially took office.
As a reminder, Trump recently said that he plans to meet with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin "very quickly" after he officially takes office. However, he did not name a schedule for the meeting.
