Biden shares the secret of his dialogue with Putin
Current U.S. President Joe Biden disclosed some details of his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and said that Russia is afraid that nuclear weapons could be used.
Joe Biden said this in an interview with the American TV channel MSNBC.
Putin fears a nuclear strike from Ukraine
According to the US president, Putin sought to avoid the deployment of nuclear weapons in Europe and also tried to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO. Biden also said that the Russian dictator feared that Ukraine could obtain nuclear weapons and strike at Moscow.
"Tactical nuclear weapons in Europe scares the hell out of everyone, including the Russians," Biden emphasized
Nevertheless, Biden made it clear that Ukraine cannot become a NATO member without the necessary reforms, and even then, nuclear weapons will not be a topic of discussion.
However, he emphasized that the United States will support Ukraine in its struggle and will not allow Russia to annex territories.
