The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković. They signed the Agreement on long-term support and cooperation between the two states.

Zelenskyy wrote about this via Telegram on Wednesday, October 9.

Meeting with the Prime Minister of Croatia

During the meeting, Zelenskyy and Plenković agreed on defense assistance and cooperation, humanitarian demining, rehabilitation of Ukrainian children and injured soldiers, reconstruction of our state and its European integration.

"We also signed the Agreement on long-term support and cooperation between our states today. Together, we will develop cooperation between our defense industry," Zelenskyy said.

He added that Croatia would continue to provide equipment and share knowledge on humanitarian demining.

"I thank Croatia for every demonstration of support for our state and people, for being with Ukraine since the beginning of Russian aggression in 2014," the President emphasized.

We previously reported that Zelenskyy arrived in Croatia on Wednesday, October 9. He planned a meeting not only with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, but also with representatives of other countries of the Balkan region.

It should be reminded that the Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenkovich visited Kyiv on September 11. Then he also met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. They discussed issues of humanitarian demining and post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
