Zelenskyy made a harsh statement about the BRICS summit in Russia

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that on United Nations Day, it is especially important to show that this organization is truly a guarantor of justice and freedom for every independent country. He also recalled that right now the leaders of some countries are at Putin's BRICS summit in Kazan.

Zelenskyy recalled that right now, on UN Day, the leaders of some states have gathered at Putin's summit in Kazan, past which, most likely, the North Korean military, preparing for war with Ukraine, is moving. He also recalled that you can still hear words about "preventing tension" from other countries.
"We still know: it is not the criminal, not the one who destroys and deports, who will win, but the one who unites peoples on the basis of fundamental human values and the UN Charter," the President said.
He added that if Ukraine can end this war with a fair peace, then any other people against whom they may plan an aggressive war can be sure that the world will have enough strength and unity to defend international law.
"This is not only about Ukraine. Today, on the International Day of the UN, it is especially necessary to say this," the President noted.
He also emphasized that it is the UN, not separately created initiatives, that should contribute to ending the war.
"When the goal for which the UN was created is defended not by the UN Security Council or even UN functionaries, but by such formats of cooperation as the Crimea Platform or the Peace Summit," the President explained his opinion.
Finally, Zelenskyy recalled that UN Day should be celebrated all over the world, and not in Kazan, a city on the territory of an aggressor state.
