President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that security guarantees of Europe will not be enough for the country. According to him, they are also important from the United States of America.
The Ukrainian leader said this at a press conference of the summit in Brussels on Thursday, December 19.

"European security guarantees will not be enough for Ukraine," the Head of State said.
According to him, discussions on guarantees are currently underway, but no decisions have been made yet. Zelenskyy added that the United States is also important for Ukraine.
As a reminder, Zelenskyy noted that a ceasefire will be possible only when Ukraine receives security guarantees and strengthens its positions.
In addition, on December 19, the Ukrainian leader met with the President of the European Council, António Costa.
