Donald Trump has officially become the new president of the United States of America. Many people are concerned about whether this will affect aid to Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy gave a comment on the matter.

Zelenskyy on future aid from the US

The Head of State briefly answered the question of whether Ukraine expects further assistance from the United States after Donald Trump comes to power.

"So far, everything goes as it is," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

As the Ukrainian leader left the Ukrainian House at the Davos Forum, the crowd chanted "Glory to Ukraine". The President thanked the audience for their support.

As a reminder, Volodymyr Zelenskyy is planning to meet with Donald Trump, according to the head of the Presidential Administration, Andriy Yermak. He assured that this should happen as soon as possible.

At the same time, the Ukrainian leader emphasized that representatives of the teams of both sides should first hold talks. After that, the two presidents will meet.
