Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with Justin Trudeau
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau. In particular, the Canadian leader confirmed support for the Victory Plan.
Zelenskyy reported this on Monday, November 4.
Zelenskyy spoke with Trudeau
"I am grateful to Justin Trudeau, his team and everyone involved for the successful thematic conference on the fourth step of the Peace Formula "Release of prisoners and deportees", which took place in Montreal on October 30-31," Zelenskyy said.
The President added that the next stage should be the preparation of a final document — the Peace Plan — based on the results of all the thematic conferences.
"On the sidelines of the conference, our delegation presented the Victory Plan to Justin, and today he confirmed his support," the Head of State added.
In addition, the parties discussed further cooperation on organizing the second Peace Summit and involving the countries of the Global South in this work.
In addition, Trudeau announced the shipment of the first NASAMS air defense system ordered by Canada for Ukraine. It should arrive in our country by the end of this year.
They also discussed further defense support for Ukraine and the involvement of North Korea in the war.
"We coordinated cooperation within the Canadian presidency of the G7 next year," Zelenskyy said.
We previously reported that Zelenskyy held a meeting with the State Defense Committee on Monday, November 4. Attention was paid to strengthening air defense in the regions that suffer the most from shelling and the production of own weapons.
As a reminder, Zelenskyy also held a meeting with the military leadership. The main topic of discussion was the situation on the front line and the results of the Kursk operation.
