The parties discussed all the topics that are important for Ukraine and Germany. The main ones are air defense, strengthening the protection of the sky.

Zelenskyy noted that Germany is already a leader in this and in European support generally. In total, Berlin has provided assistance worth almost 30 billion euros.

"I want to thank the Chancellor personally and all of Germany, all the German people, who are so fundamentally with us. It is important for us in Ukraine that the level of German support does not decrease in the future. This will be the most important and timely signal to all our other partners," the Head of State emphasized.

At the meeting with Scholz, he agreed that Germany will continue to be with Ukraine exactly as needed, regardless of what happens in global politics.

As a reminder, Zelenskyy explained the need of Taurus missiles for the country. He commented on Scholz's call to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

Scholz also shared details about the support that Germany provides for Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.
