United24 platform performance over the year
"In total, the platform has raised more than UAH 13 billion — a result made possible by every donation, no matter how large or small. This year we were supported by people from 137 countries," Zelenskyy emphasized.
According to him, the aid provided the military with air and sea drones, robotic platforms and vehicles, and the medical staff with ambulances and life-saving equipment.
Zelenskyy noted that the money helped restore homes, schools, bridges and shelters.
"You have helped save thousands of lives. You are changing the world for the better and enabling us to move forward. Thank you for supporting United24! Thank you for staying with Ukraine!" he added.
As a reminder, Zelenskyy announced the creation of a military ombudsman and a new aid package from the United States.
Zelenskyy also signed a decree establishing a new public holiday, the Day of Interethnic Harmony and Cultural Diversity, which will be celebrated annually on May 21.
