Zaluzhnyi meets with British Secretary of State for Europe

Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom and former head of the Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi met with Stephen Doughty, Minister of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's Europe, North America and Overseas Territories Department. They discussed assistance to Ukraine.

Valerii Zaluzhnyi announced this in his Telegram.

"Behind the complicated official title, he is not only a very experienced diplomat, but also a great friend of Ukraine, and our conversations with him have already become regular," Zaluzhnyi said.

He emphasized that each such meeting is not just words of support, but real practical steps. Decisions that strengthen our state in confronting the enemy.

The Ambassador also noted that he is very proud of his friendship with Doughty.  

Zaluzhnyi recently explained why Europe is not ready for a war with Russia. He believes that Europeans will only have enough strength for a short-term conflict.

Earlier, the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the Russians would be able to make a powerful breakthrough at the front after 2027. By then, they will have accumulated enough resources.
