Ukrainian Foreign Ministry "trolled" Zakharova during briefing
A spokesman of Foreign Ministry Heorhii Tykhyi laughed at representative of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, who was ordered to keep quiet about the intercontinental missile strike on the Dnipro during a briefing. Tykhyi emphasized that such a situation is impossible in Ukraine, because it is a democratic country and journalists tell the truth.
Tykhyi said this during a briefing, as "We — Ukraine" reports on Thursday, November 21.
Tykhyi has trolled Zakharova
"I have a phone too, but no one calls me during briefings," Tykhyi said.
In this way, he trolled Russian Zakharova, who was ordered to keep quiet about the ICBM strike on Ukraine during a briefing.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman emphasized that Ukraine is a free country and everyone can express themselves freely. In addition, the Ukrainian ministry reports true facts.
"We don't need to be coordinated: how to lie today so that it doesn't contradict how we lied yesterday," Tykhyi noted.
What happened at Zakharova's briefing
Representative of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova has got a call during the briefing and ordered not to comment on the statements about the Russian intercontinental ballistic missile that was launched over Ukraine.
Later, in a comment to Russian media, Zakharova stated that there was no intrigue in this situation.
"Before the briefing, there were questions about controversial materials on the Internet... I clarified with the experts whether this topic was ours. The answer came during the briefing — the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not comment. So there is no intrigue," Zakharova tried to dodge.
Previously, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin named the missile with which Russia struck the Dnipro on November 21. According to the Russian President, it was a hypersonic missile "Oreshnik".
It should be recalled that the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that on November 21, the Russians launched an intercontinental ballistic missile for the first time over the Dnipro. They did not say what kind of weapon the invaders used. However, according to Defense Express, it was a "Rubezh" missile.
