Ukraine signed an agreement on NATO in Brussels — details
During a working visit to Brussels, the Ukrainian delegation signed an agreement with Lithuanian parliamentarians regarding the North Atlantic Alliance.
This was announced by MP Oleksandr Kornienko in a commentary to Novyny.LIVE journalist Halyna Ostapovets on Wednesday, January 22.
What the agreement provides for?
According to the MP, Ukraine's accession to NATO cannot be neglected. This is a serious guarantee of security not only for our country but also for Europe. That is why Ukrainian diplomats signed the agreement with their Lithuanian counterparts.
"We have adopted a final document on appeals within NATO. For NATO members to address the larger members, the United States or Germany, with a message that Ukraine should be in NATO," Kornienko said.
As a reminder, a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council was held in Brussels. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi joined the meeting online.
