Explosives factory explodes in Turkey causing casualties
On December 24, an explosion occurred at an explosives factory in the village of Kavakli, Turkey. As of this moment, more than ten people have been reported dead, there are wounded.

The governor of Balikesir province, Ismaila Ustaoglu, said that the explosion at the plant resulted in deaths and injuries. Many fire brigades were sent to the region.

As of now, 12 people have been reported dead and three more injured. A rescue operation is underway to determine how many people may still be in the plant. As you know, the building almost completely collapsed after the powerful explosion.
Answering questions about the cause of the explosion, Ustaoglu ruled out the possibility of sabotage and assured that there was no risk of a second explosion. At the same time, the media reported that the explosion occurred in the capsule production shop of Zsr Explosives.
As a reminder, on December 23, explosions occurred on the territory of a strategic airfield in Rostov region. It serves as a base for frontline aviation.
