It is known that South Korea has imposed censorship in the media, banned rallies and demonstrations, and suspended the work of parliament, local councils and political parties.

Call for protests

South Korean opposition leader Lee Jae-myung has called on citizens to protest against the military dictatorship. He said that the President Yoon Suk Yeol has betrayed his nation.

He called on people to come to the parliament, blocked by the military, where deputies plan to vote to impeach the president, who is accused of trying to establish a military dictatorship.

It is known that Yoon Suk Yeol did not inform many people in his circle of his intention to declare martial law, which led to chaos among the political elite in Seoul.

It should be recalled that on December 3, Yoon Suk Yeol announced the imposition of martial law in the country due to the threat posed by pro-North Korean forces.

Previously, the 1MP Andriy Nikolayenko said that the internal situation in South Korea could affect the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
