South Korea votes to cancel martial law

The South Korean Parliament voted for cancellation of martial law. It was previously declared by President Yoon Suk Yeol.

Cancellation of martial law in South Korea
Despite the borders set up by the military, 190 deputies managed to break into the National Assembly building. They voted for cancellation of martial law at an emergency meeting.
People who broke into the building, together with deputies, barricaded the entrance to the National Assembly with furniture.
The military is trying to break into the hall through the windows, and protesters are holding them back with fire extinguishers.
As a reminder, on December 3, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declared martial law due to the threat from pro-North Korean forces.
Later, clashes broke out in Seoul between protesters and the military. South Korean opposition leader Lee Jae-myung called on people to join the protests.
