X-69 missile developer killed in Moscow — what is known
On Thursday, December 12, Mikhail Shatsky, Deputy Chief Designer, Head of the Software Department at the Mars Design Bureau, was killed in Moscow. He is to blame for the deaths of thousands of Ukrainians, as he was engaged in the modernization of cruise missiles for the Russian army.
This was reported by journalist Oleksandr Nevzorov, and Suspilne 's sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (DIU) confirmed the information.
What is known about Shatsky
Shatsky was shot dead near Kuzminsky Park in Moscow, while the perpetrator escaped.
It is known that this associate of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin was involved in modernizing X-59 cruise missiles to the X-69 level and introducing new drones for the Russian military. He taught the course "Automatic Control Systems for Space Aircraft" at a design bureau. His work focused on creating and forecasting the reliability of spacecraft control systems using neural network methods. Additionally, he contributed to various other aspects related to the design and functionality of spacecraft.
"Budanov's reach is long. It seems no one guilty of the genocide of Ukrainians will die a natural death. Today, DIU forces eliminated a particularly harmful criminal — Deputy Chief Designer, Head of the Software Department at Mars Design Bureau, Mikhail Shatsky. He was involved in modernizing X-59 cruise missiles to the X-69 level, introducing new UAVs, and is responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Ukrainians," wrote Nevzorov.
The journalist also believes that Shatsky's elimination was the work of Ukrainian intelligence.
