A race in support of Azovstal's heroes took place in Philadelphia

On December 15, the Run for Azovstal Defenders charity race took place in Philadelphia. The event raised more than $900.

About fifty Ukrainians from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware gathered for a charity race in Philadelphia. They ran to support the defenders and families of Azovstal employees.
"This run was not just a fundraiser — it was a call to action and awareness raising. Together, we reminded the world of the sacrifices made by Azovstal's defenders and the urgent need to bring all the prisoners home," says Evheniia Petsukh, one of the race organizers.
The joint efforts of all involved raised $905 to support the brave defenders of Azovstal, their families and loved ones. All the funds raised were transferred to the Azovstal Defenders' Family Support Fund.
As a reminder, a charity Christmas fair was held in Warsaw to buy gifts for Ukrainian children in the frontline areas. A total of 9 thousand zlotys (over 2,000 USD) was raised.
The promotional company Top Boxing Generation held a big boxing show in Kyiv. As part of the tournament, Nigerian boxer Michael Igwegbe, who fought with Ukrainian Ihor Tsymbalyuk, surprised the audience by supporting Ukraine and donating part of his fee to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
