The second MiG-31K destroyer of the Russian Space Force has arrived in Belarus. Thus, at least two Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" hypersonic air-launched ballistic missiles may be located there at the moment.

This was reported via Telegram by the "Belarusian Hajun" channel on Thursday, October 10.

The second MiG in Belarus

It is reported that the second MiG-31K destroyer of the Russian Air Force has just landed at the "Machulyshchi" airfield. Yesterday, one such plane arrived in Machulyshchi.

It should be noted that MiG-31K destroyers are carriers of Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" hypersonic air-launched ballistic missiles, which can hit targets at a distance of up to two thousand kilometers. There is an increased threat of their use against Ukraine.

Maneuvers of Russian aircraft

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation Andriy Kovalenko suggested that rebasing of the MiG-31K on the territory of Belarus could be an attempt of the Russians to preserve the aircraft, which are always in danger at Russian airfields.

"However, the version about provocations should not be rejected, because after the attack by the Russian Shahed drone near Mazyr, where the oil refinery is located, which accidentally became public, it was clear that Russia could be preparing a provocation against Belarus," he added.

Previously, we reported that on Tuesday, October 8, an unknown object flew from the territory of Belarus to Ukraine. He was heading southeast.

In addition, a Russian drone exploded in the city of Kalinkovichi in the Gomel region of Belarus. It is not known whether Shahed drone detonated independently or was shot down by air defense forces.
