US presidential candidate Donald Trump has promised to significantly increase tariffs on goods from the EU. The politician is unhappy with the difficult supply of American goods to Europe.

Trump said this during his campaign speech in the city of Warren, Michigan.

What Trump offers

Trump noted that the European Union countries are "as bad as China" because they block American goods, continuing to supply their products to the US.

The politician promised to impose 100-200% tariffs on goods from the EU if he wins the US presidential election.

"They don't take our cars, our phones, but they sell their phones here, they supply cars. They charge us high tariffs, so we will also charge tariffs of 100-200%," Trump said.

He emphasized that he would never apologize for defending US interests and promised to protect workers, jobs, the state border and American families.

"I will protect the right of our children from birth to live in the richest and most powerful country," Trump added.

As a reminder, on November 5, the 60th anniversary presidential election of the country will be held in the United States. The final national poll by NBC News shows an equal fight between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that if Donald Trump wins, Europe will not be able to provide military assistance to Ukraine.
