The US transfers a new aid package to Ukraine — what it includes
The United States is handing over a new military aid package worth $275 million to Ukraine. It will include artillery shells, as well as small arms and equipment.
This was reported by the US Department of Defense on Wednesday, November 20.
Aid package from the US
The new military aid package from the US includes ammunition for HIMARS and artillery ammunition of 155 mm and 105 mm caliber. 60 mm and 81 mm mortar rounds will also be transferred.
The rest of the military aid package will include:
• Javelin and AT-4 anti-armor systems;
• Unmanned Aerial Systems;
• TOW missiles;
• Small arms and ammunition.
Previously, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine would lose a war with Russia if the US reduced aid. Ukraine does not have enough weapon production to survive.
I should be recalled that on November 17, for the first time, the US President Joe Biden allowed our state to carry out long-range strikes on Russian territory using ATACMS missiles.
