During the meeting, Syrskyi emphasized the importance of systematic and uninterrupted support for Ukraine's defense forces with weapons and military equipment from allies, particularly the United States.

"In this context, I once again stressed the need to achieve, if not superiority, then at least parity with the enemy in terms of the range of key military equipment and ammunition," said the commander-in-chief.

The parties also discussed in detail the use of the full potential of certain offensive systems by Ukrainian units. The conversation also touched on enhancing air defense capabilities and several other issues that will affect the future battlefield.

"At the conclusion of the discussion, I thanked Lloyd Austin for his clear and consistent stance in supporting Ukraine and for his personal contribution to initiating and organizing the meetings in the Ramstein format," Syrskyi summarized.

Earlier, it was reported that Syrskyi plans to make a decision on a new model of basic military training in December. The commander-in-chief held a meeting on this matter.

Syrskyi also had a phone conversation with the Chief of the Defense Staff of the United Kingdom, Admiral Tony Radakin. They discussed, among other things, the potential for strikes deep into Russian territory.
