Russians are trying to hide the losses of North Koreans. Ukraine is currently finding out full information about the real losses of the North Koreans.
This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday, December 16.
Losses of North Koreans in the Russian-Ukrainian war
As noted by Zelenskyy, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported on the situation on the front line. It was about the participation of North Korean soldiers in battles on the side of the Russian army.
"According to preliminary data, the Russians are trying to hide the losses of North Koreans. The Ukrainian Armed Forces and our intelligence are finding out full information about the real losses of Russian units, in which Koreans are also involved. Unfortunately, we also have to defend ourselves from them too," the Head of State noted.
It should be recalled that Ukrainian military personnel published a video, apparently, with the first dead North Korean soldiers. The footage shows more than two dozen bodies, but the total losses are greater.
The MID stated that Russia is using North Korean soldiers to participate in hostilities in the Kursk region. It is known that they have already suffered their first losses and opened "friendly fire" on Kadyrov's troops.
